Tri-Town Y-Indian Guides - "Pals Forever"

It is the purpose of the Y Indian Guide program to foster the relationship between Father and elementary school aged Son. By way of monthly tribe meetings and monthly Nation events, such as camp outs, laser tag etc…., you get to spend quality time with your son. Getting to know and understand each other, while also making lifelong friendships with other guides and their dads. If you would like to know more about the program and what benefits it may hold for you and your son. Please contact one of the chiefs listed near your home, and go along to a meeting to “see what it’s all about”. We have several Nation events every year.

The Guides have several Exciting Nation events every year to enjoy.  Below are just a sample of the typical Nation events on the calendar.  Additionally the individual tribes typically plan outings not listed below.
Guides Nation Events
Fall Campout: The annual fall campout is typically in late September and is always a big hit.  It is a great time of year to enjoy the great outdoors and have adventures together.
Laser Tag:  Dad and Guides go head-to-head in Laser tag.
Swimming Party: The swimming party is held in the winter at a local indoor pool or indoor water park. It's a great chance for the boys to splash and have fun.
Christmas Party: Ho,HO,HO the Christmas party is a fun time for the entire Nation to celebrate the Holiday Season together.
PAC Car Race: Gentlemen start your engines. Usually held in early February the Pinewood Derby is fun and exciting. Last year we did in the concourse Yorktown Mall, it was a blast.
Winter Campout: Typically held in January we get away to cabins and go skiing (weather permitting) as a nation. The boys love the chance to have fun in the snow.
Spring Campout: The Guides welcome in spring cabin camping at a local midwestern YMCA camp. Great way to get ready for the warm weather months ahead.
Lombard Lilac Parade. Held in the middle of May the Lilac Parade is a chance for the Guides to March together in a Parade. The Two Rivers Federation builds parade floats in this signature event with over 55 years of tradition.
